Dance Discipleship Training School
Dates : 22 May – 14 October 2023

The Dance Discipleship Training School is a five month’ lifestyle program for dancers who long to follow Gods call on their life ! Discipleship, community, challenging teaching and local outreach are weekly returning activities on the agenda.

Next to the general DTS curriculum with teachings on for example ‘Hearing Gods Voice’, ‘Identity’, ‘Authority’, ‘The Fatherheart of God’ among other key topics, there is a weekly dance training schedule.
Up to 8 Hours a week are set apart for dance training, with technique classes in Ballet, Modern/Cotemporary, Jazz, stretching & strengthening. Other aspects of the dance track include topics like choreography, teaching, dance research/studies & worship and improvisation dance.

We will learn about the importance of dance in the kingdom of God, hear about dance and the prophetic, and apply ways to use dance as a tool for transforming society wherever we are called. We practice using movement and dance in worship, prayer and personal quiet times. We create together and go out for evangelism using dance performance.

During the Dance DTS, you learn to use your dance skill in a missional way. Local outreach in Brussels and Belgium provide lots of opportunity for this, as well as a planned outreach abroad.

The emphasis in the Dance DTS is to receive spirit-filled teaching through which we allow God to shape our character and way of thinking, so that we can become messengers of the kingdom, using our passion for dance !
In our Brussels’ community, we find it important to be influential in our city and to serve one another.

We desire to do life together as a team, receiving from one another. We believe that community living is a great way to break with our often individualistic culture. There is a strong focus point on personal devotion and discipleship.
